Thursday's Family night

Going to my brother's for dinner as we did every Thursdays except those days when something more important came up. Family dinners are important when catching up with the daily issues of our lives. Lumpia is the main course, but we shall see tomorrow. I shall update tomorrow.

Saw one but do they exist? driving down the road then a cop pulls up next to me on a regular motorcycle, no lights, nothing. 

Thursday night dinner with family

Thursday night is dinner with the family. I love thursday night because I go to my brothers house and eat dinner. it's mostly mom cooking the food but it's all good no matter what  mom's cooking it is always good.

Leftovers!

Leftovers are the best. Its like having a wonderful meal again. That and I had do homework again tonight. I'm in the middle of making a red light green light game visual.

A suggestion of a restaurant! Love those!

I am glad to say that I have a suggestion from my regular followers...aka little bro. I just started this blog so he hasn't followed me much with this blog, but mostly my life. Well I am sure he is enjoying the reading and much and I enjoy writing them.  Food shouldn't be savored only for your palate. It must be shared amongst the other people of this fine city of Jacksonville, FL. I currently read the reviews of a place my brother suggested. I must say there was not one good review by any of the customers of that establishment. I will not post who I am talking about cause who know who might be reading this. Maybe the owner or one of the workers will notice this blog and find out who I am and try to serve me really nice and all just to fool my sense of comfort. I really don't want them to treat me any different from the way they would treat any of my fellow readers. This is a personal experience that I want you to enjoy reading after the ride. Hopefully when you ever come to Jacksonville, you might hit up some of the places that I suggest. If you need directions just comment me.

Well I just wanted to inform you all that I will be trying out my suggested spot by my little bro soon. Till then...happy eating!

Arby's Dinner: Feb 7, 2012

Well today I had to have to do homework. I have to do homework every night  so that doesn't change anything.  Today I wanted something fast and not too fattening. I don't know if the French Au Duex is fattening.  It is a little disappointing when you get it. It looks like a chibatta sub with slices of roast beef. That is about it. The dipping sauce is about the same as any au duex sauce. Nothing too memorable about this meal at all.  I should really just blog about nice places I go, but then I will probably be posting once a week. That would be disappointing, just a blog a week. It is hard to be single and to cook for yourself. There isn't anything fun with cooking for yourself. Maybe thats just me.

I really wish our work was catered like some other places I know. HAHAHA! Mexico has people that come in to the plant and provide food for the workers. I think any place that feeds you really does want you to work for them.  Well I am sorry I didn't have a wonderful meal tonight, but there will be times that I will have those. When I do...you will be reading about it the same night.

Amazing TACO BELL KILLER! Lupita's Mexican and Seafood!

Good evening folks. Things happen for a reason, don't ask me. The man upstairs can answers your question. Well today me and a friend of mine wondered what kind of dinner to have. We finally decided on Mexican. I had lunch with my friends this weekend. Went to a Mexican restuarant for lunch. Great lunch except for one thing. Chicken Chalupa is supposed to have chicken, not refried beans. I was wondering if there was anything in Jacksonville, FL with that kind of personality. I found it with the Nacho Supreme on the side. This place had two people running it. It looked like a Husband and wife team to me. No waiters, and waitress, just the couple. Take a look at the outside. It really is a diamond in the rough, trust me.

This was the appetizer that I choose to share with my friend. It was a little too delicious. Tortilla shells with beef, cheese, lettuce. The salsa was added by your truly. This was a huge dish. If I wasn't eating this with a friend. I would have never ate the entree, or should I really say start it.

My friend suggested Velveta melted but is that really Authentic Mexican? He stopped halfway thru the Nachos. But I continued and finished the plate alone. I really wish I had 4 stomachs like a cow. I say this a lot, so get used to this saying. I really haven't seen a meal that I didn't like. I am sure there is some and I will find them.

Now back to my entree. I had a Fajita Texana. Tender chicken, beef and shrimp with onions, and tomatoes and bell peppers served with beans with cheese, guacamole salad and sour cream. That is right from the menu folks. I must say...it is delicious. Delicious isn't the right thing to say. It was slap in the colon saying that food you had before now isn't mexican and you love Salsa from New York City. That meal physically said that as it when down my digestion track. Fajita Texana

That pan (on the right) was sizzling when it came to me. The side items were fresh and delicious. I don't get how anyone can eat all this with only 3 flour fajitas. Thats it. Those were even big fajitas. Back to the meal. That sizzling pan had sliced beef, cuts of chicken, and shrimp all with onions and peppers. Doesn't that make you wish you had 4 stomachs? Yeah...you know it does. 

I am sad to say I didn't finish this mean. I asked my friend, "Is it was ok to eat and cry at the same time?" He said, "no". I said, "Are you sure?" Same response as before.

I brought my purse, as my brother would say when I didn't finish a meal. I brought the big purse cause I had to big it home with me. I will eat this thing tomorrow with some friends at work.

I ain't a food critic, but I play one on T.V. Sure the show is something that plays inside my head, but that is beside the point. I just wanted the people who read this to enjoy the read and the thoughts that drive people crazy and my striving for the answer.  I have been to many places, I've been around the world. I had many adventures and I have tasted many different flavors. I loved hanging with friends and love eating free food. I want you to know that these tastes are from the palate that doesn't like hot (spicy) food. Sorry. I had a great weekend with friends and the food was amazing. I hope that you will continue reading my thoughts crazy or not. I would have put a picture of my belly to prove that I love food, but that would be just gross. So, the next grossest thing my butter face. HAHAHA...so n joy!
